Amazing studio in the city centre (Art 12)

Prima Positive: Gute Lage, Altstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Einfacher, unkomplizierter Check-in, toll organisiert. Sehr netter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und waren mit allem zufrieden. Negative: -

Perfect location. Basic items like toilet paper shampoo and soap would it have completely changed my stay here. Also mak Positive: Location was the best thing about the property and good size studio, Negative: When I arrived the first thing I noticed was there was no toilet paper. No shampoo or air conditioner, no hand soap. Which I assume would normally be provided. That didn’t bother me so much but did bother me. Was the towels weren’t neatly folded in a cupboard or hanging nicely on a rack? They were just thrown in the bathtub. It wasn’t until I saw the bed which wasn’t made nor nearly folded. It was just all over the place led me to believe that the place had probably not been clean properly or at all between the the last guests and myself. I ended up having to wash the bedding myself as it was evident it hasn’t been washed from the smell. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel so I didn’t think it was much of an issue but other people it might be. I was just happy to be in the middle of the city which again was the best part about this place.

Centrally Located and Clean Positive: The apartment is very well located, right in the city center, which makes it easy to reach most places either on foot or by public transport. The apartment was perfectly clean and very well maintained. The check-in process was very simple, clearly explained by the host in advance through a message. The owner was also very communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. Negative: The Wi-Fi password can only be accessed through the website. If you are traveling from outside Switzerland and do not use mobile data due to high costs, keep in mind that accessing the website to get the password can be tricky. You may not be able to open the website without internet access first, so you might need to find another place with Wi-Fi to retrieve the password. A simple solution like leaving a card with the password in the apartment would have been sufficient and much more convenient for guests. The internet connection itself was very weak - almost at the limit of usability. The only real advantage was that it existed at all, but it made even basic online activities practically impossible. The mattress is extremely soft. If you prefer firm mattresses, this is definitely something to consider before booking. In the bathroom there was only a very small hotel-style soap bar provided. The standard I have encountered so far usually included at least a small amount of shampoo and shower gel, enough to freshen up after traveling. Unfortunately, this was missing here.
